Information we collect
Information you give us
When you fill out a contact form, request a home valuation, book a call, or otherwise reach out, we may collect:
- Your name, email address, and phone number;
- Any message, question, or details you choose to share (for example, a property address, your timeline, or whether you are buying or selling);
- Information you provide when you save listings or set up property alerts.
Information collected automatically
When you browse the site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- Your device and browser type, IP address, and general location;
- The pages you view, links you click, referring website, and time spent on the site;
- Cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies and analytics” below).
Our market statistics pages read aggregate, non-personal data from a published spreadsheet; that feature does not collect information about you.

- Provide real estate services, including home valuations, listing information, and property alerts you ask for;
- Schedule and manage calls and appointments;
- Send you information, market updates, or listings you have asked to receive, and, with your consent, occasional marketing;

- Meet our legal, regulatory, and professional obligations, including record-keeping required of real estate professionals in Ontario.
Consent
We collect, use, and disclose your personal information with your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions, by contacting us using the details above. If you withdraw consent, we may no longer be able to provide certain services. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors find and use the site. When you first visit, we show a short notice about our use of cookies. The technologies we use fall into a few groups:
- Essential and preference cookies that keep the site working and remember choices such as your language and whether you have dismissed our cookie notice.

- Real Broker Ontario Ltd., Brokerage, the brokerage under which Ben Robitaille is registered, where needed to provide services or meet regulatory requirements;
- Service providers that help us operate, including our customer-relationship tool (Follow Up Boss), our scheduling tool (Calendly), analytics and advertising providers (Google, Meta), our email and website hosting providers, and similar vendors. These providers may process information on our behalf and are expected to protect it;
- Other real estate professionals and boards where necessary to facilitate a transaction you are pursuing;
- Regulators, law enforcement, or others when required or permitted by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property;
- A successor in the event of a business reorganization, sale, or transfer, subject to this policy.
Listings and MLS® data
Property listings on this site come in part from the MLS® systems and CREA’s Data Distribution Facility. This information is provided for consumers with a bona fide interest in the purchase, sale, or lease of real estate. It is deemed reliable but is not guaranteed. The trademarks REALTOR®, REALTORS®, MLS®, and Multiple Listing Service® are owned or controlled by The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA).
Third-party links and services
The site may link to or embed third-party services (for example, booking, mapping, video, or social media). Those services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We also load fonts and certain resources from Google. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service you use.
Where your information is processed
Some of our service providers are located in the United States or other countries. When your information is stored or processed outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of those countries, including lawful access requests by courts, law enforcement, and government authorities. We take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled appropriately wherever it is processed.
How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, to maintain our business relationship with you, and to meet legal, regulatory, and professional record-keeping obligations. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or anonymize it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights

- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- Withdraw your consent or ask us to stop contacting you;

Children’s privacy
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
